2024 Global Health Care Sector Outlook AI may play a major role in global health care transformation

Mostly a 50,000 foot view with little in the way of detail and lots of 'buzz phrases' -- leveraging AI (we know), growing prevalence of health inequities (growing or just finally being recognized?), virtual care (finally not viewed as a threat but a cost-effective tool for expanded access), staffing shortages (everywhere), etc. What I find interesting is what's NOT here (past and future factors that are claimed to slow VBC adoption) -- the many challenges inherent in reimagining workflows and revenue streams, who's the arbiter of 'quality' and agreeing on metrics, , the issue of specialty VBC adoption, industry morale and post-C19 consumer mistrust, how the influx of a huge uninsured/federally subsidized demographic will affect profits/cost-shifting practices, driving down fraud/waste/abuse...I'm sure you can come up with others. As here many before me have said - healthcare is not easy, and it's personal. No one (not even Europe or Canada) does it perfectly. The take-away -- keep plugging.
