Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for gastroenterologists, allergists and clinical immunologists, primary care physicians, pediatricians, and nurses.

The goal of this activity is to improve clinicians’ knowledge and competence regarding assessment of eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) symptoms and differential diagnosis.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the:
    • Signs and symptoms suggestive of EoE
    • Underlying pathophysiology of EoE
  • Have greater competence related to:
    • Applying evidence-based diagnostic criteria and testing for the diagnosis of EoE
