Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for global cardiologists, primary care physicians, and cardiac surgeons.

The goal of this activity is to improve cardiologists' and primary care physicians' knowledge and competence in understanding the prevalence and pathophysiology of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) and how new treatments address patients’ medical needs by treating the underlying disease.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Pathophysiology of HCM
    • Latest clinical data on new treatments for the underlying disease of HCM
  • Have greater competence related to applying clinical guideline recommendations to the management of HCM
