Target Audience and Goal Statement

This educational activity is intended for oncology care team members, including hematologists/oncologists, pathologists, and any other healthcare specialists involved in the care of patients with SM.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to improve the diagnosis and management of adult advanced SM with AHN.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Treatment options for patients with advanced SM-AHN
    • Burden of disease for patients
    • Presentation of disease for patients
  • Have greater confidence related to
    • Optimizing treatment components for patients (to balance SM and AHN aspects)
