Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for primary care physicians, cardiologists, and neurologists.

The goal of this activity is that learners will be able to improve their understanding of the use of aspirin for primary and secondary stroke prevention.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Latest clinical data on the use of aspirin to reduce the risk for ischemic stroke
    • Clinical practice recommendations on using aspirin for the primary and secondary prevention of ischemic stroke
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Use of aspirin to reduce the risk for ischemic stroke
