Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for gastroenterologists, hepatologists, primary care physicians, diabetologists, endocrinologists, and other clinicians who manage patients with PBC.

The goal of this activity is that learners will be better able to treat and monitor patients with PBC.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Evidence-based recommendations for initiating second-line treatment in patients with PBC
    • Required monitoring (laboratory and/or symptoms) for patients receiving treatment for PBC
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Manage patients with PBC
