Available Testing Locations

If your child needs COVID-19 testing, please refer to our guide below, your Texas Children’s pediatrician or Urgent Care for COVID-19 test scheduling. Please keep in mind, the best time to test for COVID-19 is at least 3 days after the exposure.

Health authorities encourage patients and families to get tested for COVID-19 if you think you or your child have it or were in contact with someone who tested positive.

Fever

Cough

Cold/flu-like symptoms

Chills

Muscle pain

Headache

Loss of taste or smell

Nausea or vomiting

Diarrhea

Tiredness

Swollen glands
