Target Audience and Goal Statement

This educational activity is intended for an international audience of non-US primary care physicians, infectious disease (ID)/HIV specialists, and pediatricians.

The goal of this activity is that physicians will be able to introduce and discuss the benefit:risk profile of COVID-19 vaccines with vaccine-hesitant patients who are in the millennial age group (26 to 40 years).

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Reasons for vaccine hesitance among millennial-aged adults
    • Clinical and real-world evidence of vaccine efficacy and safety
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Applying effective communication strategies for discussing the COVID-19 vaccine with millennial-aged adults
