Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for neurologists, pediatricians, psychiatrists, and primary care providers.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to understand the basic science of cannabinoids, including the differences between endocannabinoids and phytocannabinoids.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Physiologic components of the endocannabinoid system
    • Factors that differentiate endocannabinoids from phytocannabinoids
